भगवान विष्णु गरुड़ पर बैठ कर कैलाश पर्वत पर गए।
द्वार पर गरुड़ को छोड़ कर खुद शिव से मिलने अंदर
चले गए। तब कैलाश की अपूर्व प्राकृतिक शोभा
को देख कर गरुड़ मंत्रमुग्ध थे कि तभी उनकी नजर
एक खूबसूरत छोटी सी चिड़िया पर पड़ी।
चिड़िया कुछ इतनी सुंदर थी कि गरुड़ के सारे
विचार उसकी तरफ आकर्षित होने लगे।
उसी समय कैलाश पर यम देव पधारे और अंदर जाने से
पहले उन्होंने उस छोटे से पक्षी को आश्चर्य की
द्रष्टि से देखा। गरुड़ समझ गए उस चिड़िया का अंत
निकट है और यमदेव कैलाश से निकलते ही उसे अपने
साथ यमलोक ले जाएँगे।
गरूड़ को दया आ गई। इतनी छोटी और सुंदर
चिड़िया को मरता हुआ नहीं देख सकते थे। उसे अपने
पंजों में दबाया और कैलाश से हजारो कोश दूर एक
जंगल में एक चट्टान के ऊपर छोड़ दिया, और खुद
बापिस कैलाश पर आ गया।
आखिर जब यम बाहर आए तो गरुड़ ने पूछ ही लिया
कि उन्होंने उस चिड़िया को इतनी आश्चर्य भरी
नजर से क्यों देखा था। यम देव बोले "गरुड़ जब मैंने
उस चिड़िया को देखा तो मुझे ज्ञात हुआ कि वो
चिड़िया कुछ ही पल बाद यहाँ से हजारों कोस दूर
एक नाग द्वारा खा ली जाएगी। मैं सोच रहा था
कि वो इतनी जलदी इतनी दूर कैसे जाएगी, पर अब
जब वो यहाँ नहीं है तो निश्चित ही वो मर चुकी
होगी।"
गरुड़ समझ गये "मृत्यु टाले नहीं टलती चाहे कितनी
भी चतुराई की जाए।"

मृत्यु:
अपनों को पहचानो:
एक राजमहल में कामवाली और उसका बेटा काम करते थे.
एक दिन राजमहल में कामवाली के बेटे को हीरा मिलता है. वो माँ को बताता है.
कामवाली होशियारी से वो हीरा बाहर फेककर कहती है ये कांच है हीरा नहीं.
कामवाली घर जाते वक्त चुपके से वो हीरा उठाके ले जाती है.
वह सुनार के पास जाती है...
सुनार समझ जाता है इसको कही मिला होगा,
ये असली या नकली पता नही इसलिए पुछने आ गई.
सुनार भी होशियारीसें वो हीरा बाहर फेंक कर कहता है
ये कांच है हीरा नहीं.
कामवाली लौट जाती है.
सुनार वो हीरा चुपके सेे उठाकर जौहरी के पास ले जाता है,
जौहरी हीरा पहचान लेता है.
अनमोल हीरा देखकर उसकी नियत बदल जाती है.
वो भी हीरा बाहर फेंक कर कहता है ये कांच है हीरा नहीं.
जैसे ही जौहरी हीरा बाहर फेंकता है...
उसके टुकडे टुकडे हो जाते है.
यह सब एक राहगीर निहार रहा था...
वह हीरे के पास जाकर पूछता है...
कामवाली और सुनार ने दो बार तुम्हे फेंका...
तब तो तूम नही टूटे... फिर अब कैसे टूटे?
हीरा बोला....
कामवाली और सुनार ने दो बार मुझे फेंका
क्योंकि...
वो मेरी असलियत से अनजान थे.
लेकिन....
जौहरी तो मेरी असलियत जानता था...
तब भी उसने मुझे बाहर फेंक दिया...
यह दुःख मै सहन न कर सका...
इसलिए मै टूट गया .....
ऐसा ही...
हम मनुष्यों के साथ भी होता है !!!
जो लोग आपको जानते है,
उसके बावजुत भी आपका दिल दुःखाते है
तब यह बात आप सहन नही कर पाते....!
इसलिए....
कभी भी अपने स्वार्थ के लिए करीबियों का
दिल ना तोड़ें...!!!
हमारे आसपास भी...
बहुत से लोग... हीरे जैसे होते है !
उनकी दिल और भावनाओं को ..
कभी भी मत दुखाएं...
और ना ही...
उनके अच्छे गूणों के टुकडे करिये...!!!
जैसा योग वैसा भोग:
एक बार एक राजा ने विद्वान
ज्योतिषियों और ज्योतिष
प्रेमियों की सभा बुलाकर
प्रश्न किया कि
"मेरी जन्म पत्रिका के अनुसार
मेरा राजा बनने का योग था
मैं राजा बना , किन्तु उसी घड़ी
मुहूर्त में अनेक जातकों ने जन्म
लिया होगा जो राजा नहीं बन
सके क्यों ?
इसका क्या कारण है ?
राजा के इस प्रश्न से सब
निरुत्तर होगये.
क्या जबाब दें कि एक ही घड़ी
मुहूर्त में जन्म लेने पर भी सबके
भाग्य अलग अलग क्यों हैं ।
सब सोच में पड़ गये ।
अचानक एक वृद्ध खड़े हुये
और बोले महाराज की जय हो !
आपके प्रश्न का उत्तर भला कौन
दे सकता है , आप यहाँ से कुछ
दूर घने जंगल में यदि जाएँ तो
वहां पर आपको एक महात्मा
मिलेंगे उनसे आपको उत्तर मिल
सकता है । राजा की जिज्ञासा बढ़ी
और घोर जंगल में जाकर देखा
कि एक महात्मा आग के ढेर के
पास बैठ कर अंगार
(गरमा गरम कोयला ) खाने में
व्यस्त हैं , सहमे हुए राजा ने
महात्मा से जैसे ही प्रश्न पूछा
महात्मा ने क्रोधित होकर कहा
"तेरे प्रश्न का उत्तर देने के लिए
मेरे पास समय नहीं है मैं भूख से
पीड़ित हूँ ।तेरे प्रश्न का उत्तर
यहां से कुछ आगे पहाड़ियों के
बीच एक और महात्मा हैं
वे दे सकते हैं ।
राजा की जिज्ञासा और बढ़ गयी,
पुनः अंधकार और पहाड़ी मार्ग
पार कर बड़ी कठिनाइयों से
राजा दूसरे महात्मा के पास
पहुंचा किन्तु यह क्या महात्मा
को देखकर राजा हक्का बक्का
रह गया ,दृश्य ही कुछ ऐसा था,
वे महात्मा अपना ही माँस चिमटे
से नोच नोच कर खा रहे थे ।
राजा को देखते ही महात्मा ने
भी डांटते हुए कहा
" मैं भूख से बेचैन हूँ मेरे पास
इतना समय नहीं है ,
आगे जाओ पहाड़ियों के उस
पार एक आदिवासी गाँव में एक
बालक जन्म लेने वाला है ,जो कुछ
ही देर तक जिन्दा रहेगा सूर्योदय से
पूर्व वहाँ पहुँचो वह बालक तेरे
प्रश्न का उत्तर का दे सकता है.
सुन कर राजा बड़ा बेचैन हुआ
बड़ी अजब पहेली बन गया
मेरा प्रश्न, उत्सुकता प्रबल थी
कुछ भी हो यहाँ तक पहुँच
चुका हूँ वहाँ भी जाकर देखता
हूँ क्या होता है ।
राजा पुनः कठिन मार्ग पार कर
किसी तरह प्रातः होने तक उस
गाँव में पहुंचा, गाँव में पता किया
और उस दंपति के घर पहुंचकर
सारी बात कही और शीघ्रता से
बच्चा लाने को कहा जैसे ही
बच्चा हुआ दम्पत्ति ने नाल
सहित बालक राजा के सम्मुख
उपस्थित किया ।
राजा को देखते ही बालक ने
हँसते हुए कहा राजन् !
मेरे पास भी समय नहीं है,
किन्तु अपना उत्तर सुनो लो
तुम,मैं और दोनों महात्मा पूर्व
जन्म में हम चारों भाई व
राजकुमार थे ।
एकबार शिकार खेलते खेलते
हम जंगल में भटक गए।
तीन दिन तक भूखे प्यासे
भटकते रहे । अचानक हम
चारों भाइयों को आटे की
एक पोटली मिली जैसे तैसे
हमने चार बाटी सेकीं और
अपनी अपनी बाटी लेकर खाने
बैठे ही थे कि भूख प्यास से
तड़पते हुए एक महात्मा आ
गये । अंगार खाने वाले भइया
से उन्होंने कहा
"बेटा मैं दस दिन से भूखा हूँ
अपनी बाटी में से मुझे भी कुछ
दे दो , मुझ पर दया करो जिससे
मेरा भी जीवन बच जाय, इस घोर
जंगल से पार निकलने की मुझमें
भी कुछ सामर्थ्य आ जायेगी
इतना सुनते ही भइया गुस्से से
भड़क उठे और बोले
"तुम्हें दे दूंगा तो मैं क्या आग
खाऊंगा ? चलो भागो यहां से।
वे महात्मा जी फिर मांस खाने
वाले भइया के निकट आये
उनसे भी अपनी बात कही किन्तु
उन भइया ने भी महात्मा से गुस्से
में आकर कहा कि "बड़ी मुश्किल
से प्राप्त ये बाटी तुम्हें दे दूंगा तो मैं
क्या अपना मांस नोचकर खाऊंगा ?
भूख से लाचार वे महात्मा मेरे
पास भी आये ,
मुझसे भी बाटी मांगी
तथा दया करने को कहा किन्तु
मैंने भी भूख में धैर्य खोकर कह
दिया कि
"चलो आगे बढ़ो मैं क्या भूखा
मरुँ ?"
बालक बोला "अंतिम आशा लिये
वो महात्मा हे राजन !आपके पास
आये , आपसे भी दया की याचना
की, सुनते ही आपने उनकी दशा
पर दया करते हुये ख़ुशी से अपनी
बाटी में से आधी बाटी आदर सहित
उन महात्मा को दे दी ।
बाटी पाकर महात्मा बड़े खुश
हुए और जाते हुए बोले "तुम्हारा
भविष्य तुम्हारे कर्म और व्यवहार
से फलेगा "
बालक ने कहा "इस प्रकार हे
राजन ! उस घटना के आधार
पर हम अपना भोग, भोग रहे हैं ,
धरती पर एक समय में अनेकों
फूल खिलते हैं, किन्तु सबके
फल रूप, गुण, आकार-प्रकार,
स्वाद में भिन्न होते हैं "
इतना कहकर वह बालक मर गया।
राजा अपने महल में पहुंचा और
माना कि ज्योतिष शास्त्र, कर्तव्य
शास्त्र और व्यवहार शास्त्र है ।
एक ही मुहूर्त में अनेकों जातक
जन्मते हैं किन्तु सब अपना किया,
दिया, लिया ही पाते हैं ।
जैसा भोग भोगना होगा वैसे ही
योग बनेंगे । जैसा योग होगा
वैसा ही भोग भोगना पड़ेगा यही
जीवन चक्र ज्योतिष शास्त्र
समझाता है।

लोगों की अपेक्षायों का अंत नहीं:
रात के समय एक दुकानदार अपनी दुकान बन्द ही कर रहा था कि एक कुत्ता दुकान में आया । उसके मुॅंह में एक थैली थी। जिसमें सामान की लिस्ट और पैसे थे। दुकानदार ने पैसे लेकर सामान उस थैली में भर दिया। कुत्ते ने थैली मुॅंह मे उठा ली और चला गया।
दुकानदार आश्चर्यचकित होके कुत्ते के पीछे पीछे गया ये देखने की इतने समझदार कुत्ते का मालिक कौन है।
कुत्ता बस स्टाॅप पर खडा रहा। थोडी देर बाद एक बस आई जिसमें चढ गया। कंडक्टर के पास आते ही अपनी गर्दन आगे कर दी। उस के गले के बेल्ट में पैसे और उसका पता भी था। कंडक्टर ने पैसे लेकर टिकट कुत्ते के गले के बेल्ट मे रख दिया। अपना स्टाॅप आते ही कुत्ता आगे के दरवाजे पे चला गया और पूॅंछ हिलाकर कंडक्टर को इशारा कर दिया। बस के रुकते ही उतरकर चल दिया।
दुकानदार भी पीछे पीछे चल रहा था। कुत्ते ने घर का दरवाजा अपने पैरोंसे २-३ बार खटखटाया। अन्दरसे उसका मालिक आया और लाठीसे उसकी पीटाई कर दी।
दुकानदार ने मालिक से इसका कारण पूछा । मालिक बोला "साले ने मेरी नींद खराब कर दी। चाबी साथ लेके नहीं जा सकता था गधा।"
जीवन की भी यही सच्चाई है। लोगों की अपेक्षाओं का कोई अन्त नहीं है।

New Morning:
नयन का नयन से, नमन हो रहा है
लो उषा का आगमन हो रहा है
परत दर परत, चांदनी कट रही है
तभी तो निशा का, गमन हो रहा है
क्षितिज पर अभी भी हैं, अलसाये सपने
पलक खोल कर भी, शयन हो रहा है
झरोखों से प्राची की पहली किरण का
लहर से प्रथम आचमन हो रहा है
हैं नहला रहीं, हर कली को तुषारें
लगन पूर्व कितना जतन हो रहा है
वहीं शाख पर पँक्षियों का है कलरव
प्रभाती-सा लेकिन, सहन हो रहा है
बढ़ी जा रही जिस तरह से अरुणिमा
है लगता कहीं पर हवन हो रहा है
मधुर मुक्त आभा, सुगंधित पवन है
नये दिन का कैसा सृजन हो रहा है।

4. Looking Back
Today, I interviewed my grandmother for part of a research paper I’m working on for my Psychology class. When I asked her to define success in her own words, she said, “Success is when you look back at your life and the memories make you smile.

I am blind by birth. When I was 8 years old, I wanted to play baseball. I asked my father- "Dad, can I play baseball?" He said "You'll never know until you try." When I was a teenager, I asked him, - "Dad Can I become a surgeon?". He replied "Son, you'll never know until you try." Today I am a Surgeon, just because I tried!
6. GOODNESS & GRATITUDE
Today, after a 72 hour shift at the fire station, a woman ran up to me at the grocery store and gave me a hug. When I tensed up, she realized I didn’t recognize her. She let go with tears of joy in her eyes and the most sincere smile and said, “On 9-11-2001, you carried me out of the World Trade Center.”
7. LOVE CONQUERS PAIN
Today, after I watched my dog get run over by a car, I sat on the side of the road holding him and crying. And just before he died, he licked the tears off my face.
8. A DOOR CLOSES TO OPEN ANOTHER
Today at 7AM, I woke up feeling ill, but decided I needed the money, so I went into work. At 3PM I got laid off. On my drive home I got a flat tire. When I went into the trunk for the spare, it was flat too. A man in a BMW pulled over, gave me a ride, we chatted, and then he offered me a job. I start tomorrow.
9. LOOKING BACK
Today, as my father, three brothers, and two sisters stood around my mother’s hospital bed, my mother uttered her last coherent words before she died. She simply said, “I feel so loved right now. We should have gotten together like this more often.”
10. AFFECTION
Today, I kissed my dad on the forehead as he passed away in a small hospital bed. About 5 seconds after he passed, I realized it was the first time I had given him a kiss since I was a little boy.
11. INNOCENCE
Today, in the cutest voice, my 8-year-old daughter asked me to start recycling. I chuckled and asked, “Why?” She replied, “So you can help me save the planet.” I chuckled again and asked, “And why do you want to save the planet?” “Because that’s where I keep all my stuff,” she said.
12. JOY
Today, when I witnessed a 27-year-old breast cancer patient laughing hysterically at her 2-year-old daughter’s antics, I suddenly realized that I need to stop complaining about my life and start celebrating it again.
13. KINDNESS
Today, a boy in a wheelchair saw me desperately struggling on crutches with my broken leg and offered to carry my backpack and books for me. He helped me all the way across campus to my class and as he was leaving he said, “I hope you feel better soon.”.
14. SHARING
Today, I was traveling in Kenya and I met a refugee from Zimbabwe. He said he hadn’t eaten anything in over 3 days and looked extremely skinny and unhealthy. Then my friend offered him the rest of the sandwich he was eating. The first thing the man said was, “We can share it.”
व्यवहार मीठा रखो:
व्यवहार मीठा ना हों तो हिचकियाँ भी नहीं आती,
बोल मीठे न हों तो कीमती मोबाईलो पर घन्टियां भी नहीं आती।
घर बड़ा हो या छोटा, अग़र मिठास ना हो,
तो ईंसान तो क्या, चींटियां भी नजदीक नहीं आती।
जीवन का 'आरंभ' अपने रोने से होता हैं..,
और
जीवन का 'अंत' दूसरों के रोने से,
इस "आरंभ और अंत" के बीच का समय भरपूर हास्य भरा हो...
बस यही सच्चा जीवन है...!!!

न किसी का फेंका हुआ मिले,

मुझे बस मेरे नसीब मे
लिखा हुआ मिले,
ना मिले ये भी तो
कोई ग़म नही

किया हुआ मिले..
बिंदी 1 रुपये की आती है व ललाट पर लगायी जाती है।
पायल की कीमत हजारों में आती है पर पैरों में पहनी जाती है।
इन्सान आदरणीय अपने कर्म से होता है,
उसकी धन दौलत से नहीं।
एक फ़क़ीर शमशान में दो चिताओ की राख को बड़े ध्यान से देख रहा था।
किसी ने पूछा कि बाबा एसे क्यू देख रहे हो राख को ।
फ़क़ीर बोला कि ये एक अमीर की लाश की राख है जिसने ज़िंदगी भर काजू बादाम खाये
और ये एक ग़रीब की लाश है जिसे दो वक़्त की रोटी भी बडी मुश्किल से मयस्सर होती थी,
मगर इन दोनों की राख एक सी ही है फिर किस चीज़ पर आदमी को घमंड होता है ..
Work Towards Good For All:
A 24-year old boy looking out through a train's
window shouted, Dad, look, "the trees are going
behind; they are moving very fast" his Dad simply
stared at him with so much joy and smiled! A
young couple seated nearby looked at the 24-year
old and thought to themselves, he's so grown up
but so childish, he must have a mental disorder
for his father not to be bothered. Suddenly the
young man exclaimed again; Dad, look, "the
clouds are running with us" the couple could not
resist and said to the old man, why don't you
take your son to a good doctor may be a
psychiatrist? The old man smiled and said I just
did. We are just coming from a doctor but not a
psychiatrist ; we are just coming from the
hospital. My son was blind from birth. He just got
his sight today for the very first time, his behavior
may seem stupid to you, it's more than a miracle
to me. The young couple just sat down there, lost
for words with a mixture of tears and shame in
their eyes..
Everybody on earth has a story; don't judge
people so fast or jump into conclusion about their
private affairs; you don't know where they are
coming from or what they have to deal with.
The truth behind their story might surprise you.
Take it easy with others, even if you have a
perfect life. Let us keep working towards the good
of all.
Your Hair Always Grows Back:
One of the most tragic characters from the Old Testament is Samson. He’s the long-haired, muscled Adonis who was destined for greatness but fell for the wrong girl. As a consequence, his long hair (which was the source of his strength) shaved off, the power of God left him and he was led away in disgrace by his enemies. His eyes were torn out and poor old Samson became an object of scorn, taken out and paraded at special events so that his tormentors could make fun of him.
Thankfully the story doesn’t end there.
You see, despite his mistakes (and they were many), his hair grew back. Despite the fact that he let down the people he was supposed to lead, his hair grew back. Despite the fact that he turned his back on his divine calling and brought all of his problems on himself, his hair grew back. His hair grew back and his strength returned.
In time, Samson was brought out and paraded before his enemies at a large feast so that he could be mocked and made sport of. He was placed between the large pillars that held up the building they were in and used his restored strength to topple the building, killing over 3,000 people (including himself) in the process, which was more than he had killed during his great exploits before he had his hair shaved off.
This is the message for you today.
It doesn’t matter what mistakes you’ve made.
It doesn’t matter what negative situation you’ve found yourself in.
It doesn’t matter if you feel as though you have lost your strength to continue.
Your hair always grows back.
God gives us second (and third and 100th) chances.
His reservoir of grace and forgiveness never runs dry.
Your hair will grow back.
Your strength will return.
And I believe that there is the potential for you to impact the world in a far greater way than you did before you found yourself in trouble in the first place.
Life is all about taking chances. That leap of faith into the unknown. It terrifies us all, but where will we ever go in life if we don’t take a chance. The hardest part is finding a balance, knowing when to take the chance and when to take a step back. Knowing when to keep pushing forward in persistence versus when to just let go. It’s a balance of head and heart, of thoughts and feelings, of doing what’s “right” or doing what you “want/need” to do. It’s about not taking a chance and living with the regret that you’ll never know what might have been. Or taking the chance, risking it all, truly living life, and then accepting the often difficult path where that chance may lead.
When you look back on your own life, you see many choices that some may say were poor decisions. Do not regret a single one of those decisions. They have all taught you lessons, guided you along this journey to where you now stand. And without making those choices, without taking those chances, your life would be consumed by too many “what if’s”.
Can you live with the knowledge that you have taken a chance, regardless of its consequences? Or can you live the rest of your life wondering “what if”? Can you live without taking that chance?
