Respect the emotion of Parents:

My mom only had one eye. I hated her… She was such an embarrassment. She cooked for students and teachers to support the family.
There was this one day during elementary school where my mom came to say hello to me. I was so embarrassed.
How could she do this to me? I ignored her, threw her a hateful look and ran out. The next day at school one of my classmates said, ‘EEEE, your mom only has one eye!’
I wanted to bury myself. I also wanted my mom to just disappear. I confronted her that day and said, ‘ If you’re only gonna make me a laughing stock, why don’t you just die?’
My mom did not respond… I didn’t even stop to think for a second about what I had said, because I was full of anger. I was oblivious to her feelings.
I wanted out of that house, and have nothing to do with her. So I studied real hard, got a chance to go abroad to study.
Then, I got married. I bought a house of my own. I had kids of my own. I was happy with my life, my kids and the comforts. Then one day, my Mother came to visit me. She hadn’t seen me in years and she didn’t even meet her grandchildren.
When she stood by the door, my children laughed at her, and I yelled at her for coming over uninvited. I screamed at her, ‘How dare you come to my house and scare my children!’ GET OUT OFHERE! NOW!!!’
And to this, my mother quietly answered, ‘Oh, I’m so sorry. I may have gotten the wrong address,’ and she disappeared out of sight.
One day, a letter regarding a school reunion came to my house. So I lied to my wife that I was going on a business trip. After there union, I went to the old shack just out of curiosity.
My neighbours said that she died. I did not shed a single tear. They handed me a letter that she had wanted me to have.
‘My dearest son,
I think of you all the time. I’m sorry that I came to your house and scared your children.
I was so glad when I heard you were coming for the reunion. But I may not be able to even get out of bed to see you. I’m sorry that I was a constant embarrassment to you when you were growing up.
You see……..when you were very little, you got into an accident, and lost your eye. As a mother, I couldn’t stand watching you having to grow up with one eye. So I gave you mine.
I was so proud of my son who was seeing a whole new world for me, in my place, with that eye.

The Purple Hat !!!

Age 3: She looks at herself and sees a Princess.

Age 6: She looks at herself in the mirror and sees a Barbie doll.

Age 10: She looks at herself and sees Cinderella.

Age 15: She looks at herself and sees an Ugly Sister. Mum, I can’t go to school looking like this!

Age 20: She looks at herself and sees too fat/too thin, too short/too tall, too straight/too curly – fixes herself the best she can, but decides she’s going out anyway.

Age 30: She looks at herself and sees too fat/too thin, too short/too tall, too straight/too curly – but decides she doesn’t have time to fix It, so she’s going out anyway.

Age 40: She looks at herself and sees too fat/too thin, too short/too tall, too straight/too curly – but says, At least, I am ‘clean’ and goes out anyway.

Age 50: She looks at herself and sees I am and goes wherever she wants to go.

Age 60: She looks at herself and reminds herself of all the people who can’t even see themselves in the mirror anymore. Goes out and conquers the world.

Age 70: She looks at herself and sees wisdom, laughter and ability, goes
out and enjoys life.

Age 80: Doesn’t bother to look. Just puts on a purple hat and goes out to have fun with the world.

Maybe we should all grab that purple hat earlier.

 How do you feel about your life today? Are you living every day in exuberance? Do you love what you’re doing? Are you excited every single moment? Are you looking forward to what’s coming up next? Are you living your best life?

 If your answer to any of the above is a no, maybe or not sure, that means you’re not living your life to the fullest. युद्ध के पश्चात

हनुमान जी ने अयोध्या प्रशासन को संजीवनी बूटी लाने के लिए की गयी यात्रा का TA Bill प्रस्तुत किया।

Auditor ने 3 ऑब्जेक्शन लगाये

1. हनुमान जी ने उस समय के राजा (भरत) से यात्रा की पूर्व अनुमति नहीं ली।

2. चूंकि हनुमान जी ग्रेड 2 के अफसर हैं अतः इन्हें हवाई यात्रा की अनुमति नहीं थी।

3. इन्हें केवल संजीवनी बूटी लाने के लिए कहा गया था परंतु इन्होंने पूरा पहाड़ उठा कर ज्यादा लगेज के साथ यात्रा की।

ऑडिटर ने बिल वापिस कर दिया,

राजा राम कुछ नहीं कर पाये और बिल को पुनः परीक्षण के लिए मार्क कर दिया।

चिंतित हनुमान जी ऑडिटर के पास पहुंचे और TA बिल का 20% ऑफर किया।

अब ऑडिटर ने पुनः परीक्षण किया और इस प्रकार

Objection Remove किये -

1. उस समय राम अपनी पादुका के माध्यम से राजा थे अतः उनकी अनुमति से यात्रा की गयी।

2.आपातकाल स्थिति में Laxman का जीवन बचाने के लिए की गयी यात्रा में ग्रेड2 अफसर को भी हवाई यात्रा की अनुमति है।

3.यदि गलत पौधा आ जाता तो पुनः यात्रा में ज्यादा खर्च होता अतः अधिक लगेज की अनुमति देते हुए बिल पास किया जाता है।

थोड़ा वक्त तो निकालो वरना:

अपने लिए भी जियें.! थोड़ा सा वक्त निकालो वरना..

ज़िंदगी के 20 वर्ष हवा की तरह उड़ जाते हैं.! फिर शुरू होती है नौकरी की खोज.!
ये नहीं वो, दूर नहीं पास.
ऐसा करते 2-3 नौकरीयां छोड़ते पकड़ते,
अंत में एक तय होती है, और ज़िंदगी में थोड़ी स्थिरता की शुरूआत होती है. !

और हाथ में आता है पहली तनख्वाह का चेक, वह बैंक में जमा होता है और शुरू होता है... अकाउंट में जमा होने वाले कुछ शून्यों का अंतहीन खेल..!

इस तरह 2-3 वर्ष निकल जाते हैँ.!
'वो' स्थिर होता है.
बैंक में कुछ और शून्य जमा हो जाते हैं.
इतने में अपनी उम्र के पच्चीस वर्ष हो जाते हैं.!

विवाह की चर्चा शुरू हो जाती है. एक खुद की या माता पिता की पसंद की लड़की से यथा समय विवाह होता है और ज़िंदगी की राम कहानी शुरू हो जाती है.!

शादी के पहले 2-3 साल नर्म, गुलाबी, रसीले और सपनीले गुज़रते हैं.!
हाथों में हाथ डालकर बातें और रंग बिरंगे सपने.!
पर ये दिन जल्दी ही उड़ जाते हैं और इसी समय शायद बैंक में कुछ शून्य कम होते हैं.!
क्योंकि थोड़ी मौजमस्ती, घूमना फिरना, खरीदी होती है.!

और फिर धीरे से बच्चे के आने की आहट होती है और वर्ष भर में पालना झूलने लगता है.!

सारा ध्यान अब बच्चे पर केंद्रित हो जाता है.! उसका खाना पीना , उठना बैठना, शु-शु, पाॅटी, उसके खिलौने, कपड़े और उसका लाड़ दुलार.!
समय कैसे फटाफट निकल जाता है, पता ही नहीं चलता.!

इन सब में कब इसका हाथ उसके हाथ से निकल गया, बातें करना, घूमना फिरना कब बंद हो गया, दोनों को ही पता नहीं चला..?

इसी तरह उसकी सुबह होती गयी और बच्चा बड़ा होता गया...
वो बच्चे में व्यस्त होती गई और ये अपने काम में.!
घर की किस्त, गाड़ी की किस्त और बच्चे की ज़िम्मेदारी, उसकी शिक्षा और भविष्य की सुविधा और साथ ही बैंक में शून्य  बढ़ाने का टेंशन.!
उसने पूरी तरह से अपने आपको काम में झोंक दिया.!
बच्चे का स्कूल में एॅडमिशन हुआ और वह बड़ा होने लगा.!
उसका पूरा समय बच्चे के साथ बीतने लगा.!

इतने में वो पैंतीस का हो गया.!
खूद का घर, गाड़ी और बैंक में कई सारे शून्य.!
फिर भी कुछ कमी है..?
पर वो क्या है समझ में नहीं आता..!
इस तरह उसकी चिड़-चिड़ बढ़ती जाती है और ये भी उदासीन रहने लगता है।

दिन पर दिन बीतते गए, बच्चा बड़ा होता गया और उसका खुद का एक संसार तैयार हो गया.! उसकी दसवीं आई और चली गयी.!
तब तक दोनों ही चालीस के हो गए.!
बैंक में शून्य बढ़ता ही जा रहा है.!

एक नितांत एकांत क्षण में उसे वो गुज़रे दिन याद आते हैं और वो मौका देखकर उससे कहता है,
"अरे ज़रा यहां आओ,
पास बैठो.!"
चलो फिर एक बार हाथों में हाथ ले कर बातें करें, कहीं घूम के आएं...! उसने अजीब नज़रों से उसको देखा और कहती है,
"तुम्हें कभी भी कुछ भी सूझता है. मुझे ढेर सा काम पड़ा है और तुम्हें बातों की सूझ रही है..!" कमर में पल्लू खोंस कर वो निकल जाती है.!

और फिर आता है पैंतालीसवां साल,
आंखों पर चश्मा लग गया,
बाल अपना काला रंग छोड़ने लगे,
दिमाग में कुछ उलझनें शुरू हो जाती हैं,
बेटा अब काॅलेज में है,
बैंक में शून्य बढ़ रहे हैं, उसने अपना नाम कीर्तन मंडली में डाल दिया और...

बेटे का कालेज खत्म हो गया,
अपने पैरों पर खड़ा हो गया.!
अब उसके पर फूट गये और वो एक दिन परदेस उड़ गया...!!!

अब उसके बालों का काला रंग और कभी कभी दिमाग भी साथ छोड़ने लगा...!
उसे भी चश्मा लग गया.!
अब वो उसे उम्र दराज़ लगने लगी क्योंकि वो खुद भी बूढ़ा  हो रहा था..!

पचपन के बाद साठ की ओर बढ़ना शुरू हो गया.!
बैंक में अब कितने शून्य हो गए,
उसे कुछ खबर नहीं है. बाहर आने जाने के कार्यक्रम अपने आप बंद होने लगे..!

गोली-दवाइयों का दिन और समय निश्चित होने लगा.!
डाॅक्टरों की तारीखें भी तय होने लगीं.!
बच्चे बड़े होंगे....
ये सोचकर लिया गया घर भी अब बोझ लगने लगा.
बच्चे कब वापस आएंगे,
अब बस यही हाथ रह गया था.!

और फिर वो एक दिन आता है.!
वो सोफे पर लेटा ठंडी हवा का आनंद ले रहा था.!
वो शाम की दिया-बाती कर रही थी.!
वो देख रही थी कि वो सोफे पर लेटा है.!
इतने में फोन की घंटी बजी,
उसने लपक के फोन उठाया,
उस तरफ बेटा था.!
बेटा अपनी शादी की जानकारी देता है और बताता है कि अब वह परदेस में ही रहेगा..!
उसने बेटे से बैंक के शून्य के बारे में क्या करना यह पूछा..?
अब चूंकि विदेश के शून्य की तुलना में उसके शून्य बेटे के लिये शून्य हैं इसलिए उसने पिता को सलाह दी..!"
एक काम करिये, इन पैसों का ट्रस्ट बनाकर वृद्धाश्रम को दे दीजिए और खुद भी वहीं रहिये.!"
कुछ औपचारिक बातें करके बेटे ने फोन रख दिया..!

वो पुनः सोफे पर आ कर बैठ गया. उसकी भी दिया बाती खत्म होने आई थी.
उसने उसे आवाज़ दी,
"चलो आज फिर हाथों में हाथ ले के बातें करें.!"
वो तुरंत बोली,
"बस अभी आई.!"
उसे विश्वास नहीं हुआ,
चेहरा खुशी से चमक उठा,
आंखें भर आईं,
उसकी आंखों से गिरने लगे और गाल भीग गए,
अचानक आंखों की चमक फीकी हो गई और वो निस्तेज हो गया..!!

उसने शेष पूजा की और उसके पास आ कर बैठ गई, कहा,
"बोलो क्या बोल रहे थे.?"
पर उसने कुछ नहीं कहा.!
उसने उसके शरीर को छू कर देखा, शरीर बिल्कुल ठंडा पड़ गया था और वो एकटक उसे देख रहा था..!

क्षण भर को वो शून्य हो गई,
"क्या करूं" उसे समझ में नहीं आया..!
लेकिन एक-दो मिनट में ही वो चैतन्य हो गई,  धीरे से उठी और पूजाघर में गई.!
एक अगरबत्ती जलाई और ईश्वर को प्रणाम किया और फिर से सोफे पे आकर बैठ गई..!

उसका ठंडा हाथ हाथों में लिया और बोली,
"चलो कहां घूमने जाना है और क्या बातें करनी हैं तम्हे.!"
बोलो...!! ऐसा कहते हुए उसकी आँखें भर आईं..!
वो एकटक उसे देखती रही,
आंखों से अश्रुधारा बह निकली.!
उसका सिर उसके कंधों पर गिर गया.!
ठंडी हवा का धीमा झोंका अभी भी चल रहा था....!!

यही जिंदगी है...??
नहीं....!!!

संसाधनों का अधिक संचय न करें,
ज्यादा चिंता न करें,
सब अपना अपना नसीब ले कर आते हैं.!
अपने लिए भी जियो, वक्त निकालो..!

सुव्यवस्थित जीवन की कामना...!!
जीवन आपका है, जीना आपने ही है...!!

एक अलग सोच:

मैं अधर्मी नही, अत्याचारी नही.राक्षस नही.
पर क्यूँ जलाया जाता हुं..

*मैं लंका का राजा था
अरुण वरुण और कुबेर मेरी मुट्ठी में था
कभी‪ अकाल नही पड़ता था
जनता खुश थी
कोई आत्महत्या नही करता था

मेरे राज्य में सब बराबर थे
कोई ऊंच नीच‬ ‪ ‎जातिवाद छुआ छूत नही था‬..!

*दुष्टों ने मुझे घमंडी कहा राजा के पास गुरुर नही होगा तो किसके पास होगा..?

*मैं न्याय प्रिय था मेरी बहन सूर्पनखा ने लक्ष्मण से प्यार का इजहार किया तो आर्य पुत्र लक्ष्मण ने मेरी बहन की नाक दिया
(नाक कटना अर्थात इज्जत जाना)...
बहन की नाक कटेगी तो कौन भाई चुप बैठेगा..?

* मैंने सीता का हरण किया लेकिन अपने महल में नही ले
गया‪ सीता के साथ कभी गलत हरकत नही की
तो दुष्ट और पापी कैसा‬..?

* मेरा दस सिर नही था दसों दिशाओं को दसों इन्द्रियों को एक साथ काबू में रखता था..

दुष्टों ने मुझे दस सिर वाला कहकर बदनाम कर दिया..!

*मैं राक्षस नही था
ये आर्यों के दूत ऋषि मुनि खुद तो काम नही करते थे वे भोले भाले किसानों से अन्न छीनकर यज्ञ हवन के नाम से जला देते थे ताकि जनता भूख से मर जाय...
वे लोग यज्ञ के नाम से जंगल को जलाकर नुक्सान करते थे...!

इसिलिये मैं उन सबकी रक्षा करता था तब दुष्टों ने षड्यंत्र कर मुझे राक्षस नाम दे दिया..!

..अत्याचारी अधर्मी मैं नही था..
बाली को छिप कर मारने का अधर्म काम आर्य पुत्र ने किया...!!

*हमारे यहां राजा बनने की कभी कलह नही होती थी...

अयोध्या में राजा बनने की कलह हुई जिसमे बेचारा दशरथ का प्राण गया
तो अधर्मी कौन हुआ..?
अधर्म के नाम पर मुझे क्यूँ जलाया जाता है......????

यदि अधर्म का नाश करना है तो....

जलाना है तो उन आजकल के राजा बने उन नेताओं को जलाओ‬....
जिनके दस नही ‪ हजार सिर‬ हैं.....

जलाना है तो सफेद खादी वस्त्र धारण किये उन  पाखंडियों‬ को जलाओ जो धर्म और जाति के नाम पर उंच नीच में समाज को बाँट रहे हैं....

जलाना है तो उन पाखंडी नेताओं को जलाओ जो‪ अपना उल्लू सीधा करने के लिए आम जनता को गुमराह कर लूट रहे हैं‬...

जलाना हैं तो उन पाखंडी साधु संतो मौलवियों और पादरीयों को जलाओ जो‪
# धर्म के नाम पर बहु बेटियों का शारीरिक शोषण कर रहे हैं‬....
तभी अधर्म का नाश होगा.....!!!

जीवन का मूल्य:

एक दिन एक आदमी गुरुनानकजी के पास गया और उसने कहा बताईये गुरूजी जीवन का मूल्य क्या हैं ?

गुरुनानकजी ने उसे एक पथ्थर दिया और कहा, जा और इस पथ्थर का मूल्य पता करके आ. लेकिन ध्यान रखना इसको बेचना नहीं हैं I

वह आदमी उस पथ्थर को बाजार में एक संतरेवाले के पास लेकर गया और, संतरे वाले को दिखाया बोला "बता, इसकी कीमत क्या हैं ? संतरेवाला चमकीले पथ्थर को देखकर बोला, "12 संतरे ले जा, और इसे मुझे दे जा". वह आदमी संतरेवाले से बोला, गुरू ने कहा हैं इसे बेचना नहीं हैं, और वो वहा से आगे निकाल पडा.

आगे एक सब्जीवाले के पास गया, उसे वह पथ्थर दिखाया. सब्जीवाले ने उस चमकीले पथ्थर को देखा और कहा, "एक बोरी आलू ले जा और इस पथ्थर को मेंरे पास छोड़ जा". उस आदमी ने कहा, मुझे इसे बेचना नहीं हैं, मेंरे गुरू ने इसे बेचने के लिये मना किया हैं.

फिर वह आदमी आगे एक सोना बेचने वाले सुनार के पास गया, और उसे वह पथ्थर दिखाया. सुनार उस चमकीले पथ्थर को देखकर बोला, "50 लाख में मुझे बेच दे". उसने मना कर दिया तो सुनार बोला, "2 करोड़ में दे दे, या तू बता इसकी कीमत". जो माँगेगा वह दूँगा तुझे. उस आदमी ने सुनार से कहा मेंरे गुरू ने इसे बेचने से मना किया हैं.

आगे हीरे बेचनेवाले एक जौहरी के पास गया उसे पथ्थर दिखाया. जौहरी ने जब उस अनमोल रुबी को देखा, तो पहले उसने रुबी के पास एक लाल कपडा बिछाया. फिर उस अनमोल रुबी की परिक्रमा लगाई, माथा टेका. फिर जौहरी बोला, "कहा से लाया हैं ये अनमोल "रुबी" ?

"सारी कायनात, सारी दुनिया को बेचकर भी इसकी कीमत नहीं लगाई जा सकती. ये तो अनमोल हैं"

वह आदमी हैरान, परेशान होकर सीधे गुरू के पास आया. अपनी आप बिती बताई और बोला, "अब बताओ गुरूजी मानवीय जीवन का मूल्य क्या हैं ?

गुरुनानकजी बोले -
तूने पहले "रुबी" को संतरेवाले को दिखाया, उसने इसकी कीमत "12 संतरे" की बताई.

आगे सब्जीवाले के पास गया, तो उसने इसकी कीमत "1 बोरी आलू" बताई.

उसके आगे सुनार ने "2 करोड़" बताई.

और

जौहरी ने इसे "अनमोल" बताया.

अब ऐसे ही तेरा मानवीय मूल्य हैं. तू बेशक हीरा हैं लेकिन सामनेवाला तेरा आकलन अपनी औकात अपनी जानकारी और अपनी हैसियत और मकसद से लगाएगा. घबराओ मत. दुनिया में तुझे पहचानने वाले भी मिल जायेंगे. तू हार मत मान और अपना हौसला बनाये रख.

4. Looking Back

Today, I interviewed my grandmother for part of a research paper I’m working on for my Psychology class. When I asked her to define success in her own words, she said, “Success is when you look back at your life and the memories make you smile.

5. Try and U shall know

I am blind by birth. When I was 8 years old, I wanted to play baseball. I asked my father- “Dad, can I play baseball?” He said “You’ll never know until you try.” When I was a teenager, I asked him, – “Dad Can I become a surgeon?”. He replied “Son, you’ll never know until you try.” Today I am a Surgeon, just because I tried!

6. GOODNESS & GRATITUDE

Today, after a 72 hour shift at the fire station, a woman ran up to me at the grocery store and gave me a hug. When I tensed up, she realized I didn’t recognize her. She let go with tears of joy in her eyes and the most sincere smile and said, “On 9-11-2001, you carried me out of the World Trade Center.”

7. LOVE CONQUERS PAIN

Today, after I watched my dog get run over by a car, I sat on the side of the road holding him and crying. And just before he died, he licked the tears off my face.

8. A DOOR CLOSES TO OPEN ANOTHER

Today at 7AM, I woke up feeling ill, but decided I needed the money, so I went into work. At 3PM I got laid off. On my drive home I got a flat tire. When I went into the trunk for the spare, it was flat too. A man in a BMW pulled over, gave me a ride, we chatted, and then he offered me a job. I start tomorrow.

9. LOOKING BACK

Today, as my father, three brothers, and two sisters stood around my mother’s hospital bed, my mother uttered her last coherent words before she died. She simply said, “I feel so loved right now. We should have gotten together like this more often.”

10. AFFECTION

Today, I kissed my dad on the forehead as he passed away in a small hospital bed. About 5 seconds after he passed, I realized it was the first time I had given him a kiss since I was a little boy.

11. INNOCENCE

Today, in the cutest voice, my 8-year-old daughter asked me to start recycling. I chuckled and asked, “Why?” She replied, “So you can help me save the planet.” I chuckled again and asked, “And why do you want to save the planet?” “Because that’s where I keep all my stuff,” she said.

12. JOY

Today, when I witnessed a 27-year-old breast cancer patient laughing hysterically at her 2-year-old daughter’s antics, I suddenly realized that I need to stop complaining about my life and start celebrating it again.

13. KINDNESS

Today, a boy in a wheelchair saw me desperately struggling on crutches with my broken leg and offered to carry my backpack and books for me. He helped me all the way across campus to my class and as he was leaving he said, “I hope you feel better soon.”.

14. SHARING

Today, I was traveling in Kenya and I met a refugee from Zimbabwe. He said he hadn’t eaten anything in over 3 days and looked extremely skinny and unhealthy. Then my friend offered him the rest of the sandwich he was eating. The first thing the man said was, “We can share it.”
