Perception can change your world:

A famous writer was in his study room. He picked up his pen and started writing :

**Last year, I had a surgery and my gall bladder was removed. I had to stay stuck to the bed due to this surgery for a long time.

**The same year I reached the age of 60 years and had to give up my favourite job. I had spent 30 years of my life in this publishing company.

**The same year I experienced the sorrow of the death of my father.

**And in the same year my son failed in his medical exam because he had a car accident. He had to stay in bed at hospital with the cast on for several days. The destruction of car was another loss.

At the end he wrote: Alas! It was such bad year !!

When the writer's wife entered the room, she found her husband looking sad lost in his thoughts. From behind his back she read what was written on the paper. She left the room silently and came back with another paper and placed it on side of her husband's writing.

When the writer saw this paper, he found this name written on it with following lines :

**Last year I finally got rid of my gall bladder due to which I had spent years in pain....

**I turned 60 with sound health and got retired from my job. Now I can utilize my time to write something better with more focus and peace.....

**The same year my father, at the age of 95, without depending on anyone or without any critical condition met his Creator.....

**The same year, God blessed my son with a new life. My car was destroyed but my son stayed alive without getting any disability......

At the end she wrote:

This year was an immense blessing of God and it passed well !!!

The writer was indeed happy and amazed at such beautiful and encouraging interpretation of the happenings happened in his life in that year !!!

Moral : In daily lives we must see that its not happiness that makes us grateful but gratefulness that makes us happy.

To all my lovely friends and relatives..
Think positive.....b happy.....Stay Blessed

Friends are always important:

Be happy always:

Do You Greet Someone?... A Miracle Story

This story is about a person working with a freezer plant. It was almost the day end. Everyone had packed up to check out. A technical snag developed in the plant and he went to check. By the time he finished it was late. The doors were sealed and the lights were off. Trapped inside the ice plant whole night without air and light, an icy grave was almost sure for him.
Hours passed thus. Suddenly he found someone opening the door. Was it a miracle? The security guard entered there with a torch light and helped him to come out.
On the way back the person asked the security guard, “How did you know that I am inside?” “Who informed you?” the guard said, “None sir; this unit has about 50 people. But you are the only one who says Hello to me in the morning and bye in the evening. You had reported in morning. But did not go out. That made me suspicious.”
Never did the person know that a small gesture of greeting someone would prove to be a lifesaver for him.
So do us. Remember to greet when you meet someone, of course with a warm smile. We don’t know; that may work a miracle in your life too.
It can be difficult to maintain a positive attitude in the workplace. In fact, sometimes it can seem like Mission Impossible. Instead of falling victim to the negative work attitudes that surround you, make an effort to buck the trend. Look for the good in your coworkers and your workplace. By learning how to communicate with coworkers effectively, you will gain recognition as a force of positive attitude in the workplace.
Here are some beginning steps for how to communicate with coworkers effectively:
  • Be appreciative and Acknowledge with Thanks a job well done
  • Recharge yourself, be enthusiastic and practice random acts of kindness.
  • Volunteer your time to help, contribute to the greater good in your workplace, breathe life into the office and spread good will, joy and happiness !
  • Avoid negative work attitudes, Resist sarcasms, look for good  We all know someone who can make anything fun--and make time fly. Be that person !

The False Human Belief !!!

As a man was passing the elephants, he suddenly stopped, confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at anytime can break away from their bonds but for some reason, they did not.
He saw a trainer nearby and asked why these animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away. “Well,” trainer said, “when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it’s enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.”
The man was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldn’t, they were stuck right where they were.
Like the elephants, how many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something, simply because we failed at it once before?
Moral: Failure is a part of learning. We should never give up the struggle in life. You Fail not because you are destined to fail, but because there are lessons which you need to learn as you move on with your life.
Sometimes we feel like we have nothing left to give, and no matter how hard we try, we keep hitting road blocks that seem to hold us back.
The matter of fact is, if we can overcome the obstacles presented to us and keep pushing through the bad times, we will find the success within ourselves to create something worthwhile.
It isn’t always easy trying to reach the top, but when you’re thinking about giving up, remember these five things:
1. There’s Always Someone Working Harder Than You Are.
Even if you think you’ve done all you can, you’re wrong. Everyone has a dream, goal and motivation. It just depends how far you’re willing to go to get what you want. Success comes from being unique and standing out among the crowd.
2. Nobody’s Perfect.
We are all human. Realizing that it’s okay to make a mistake is only part of the battle to that ultimate goal. Learning and moving forward comes from doing something wrong and being told how to do it right.  If we throw in the towel after the first mishap or the first time we hear people criticize how we handle ourselves, we are letting go of what could have been.
3. Success Isn’t Rewarding If It’s Easy.
Reaching that ultimate goal should be a special moment. If it wasn’t the hardest thing of our lives, then we didn’t achieve it. Knowing that we did everything we could for ourselves and others to earn that goal should be more rewarding than the actual honor itself.
Behind every successful person, there is a story and a long-fought journey for him or her to get to where he or she is today.
4. Prove Others Wrong.
When someone says you can’t do something, show that you can. Read more, write more, know more and work harder than the person next to you. Actions speak a lot louder than words, so instead of complaining and sulking about others perceptions of us, make them choke on and spit up their words.
5. Rome Wasn’t Built In A Day.
This is the most important saying to remember when giving up becomes a legitimate thought. Nobody can create an empire in a day; no business can become a multi-billion-dollar venture in one day, and no idea is worth throwing in the garbage if all the stops haven’t been pulled out yet.
There is a lot to say about rewriting drafts in our lives, and sometimes they need to be revised and edited multiple times before the finished copy can be published and celebrated.

Cycle of Evil !!!

There was once a king who was so cruel and unjust that his subjects yearned for his death or dethronement. However, one day he surprised them all by announcing that he had decided to turn over a new leaf.
“No more cruelty, no more injustice,” he promised, and he was as good as his word. He became known as the ‘Gentle Monarch’. Months after his transformation one of his ministers plucked up enough courage to ask him what had brought about his change of heart.
And the king answered, “As I was galloping through my forests I caught sight of a fox being chased by a hound. The fox escaped into his hole but not before the hound had bitten into its leg and lamed it for life. Later I rode into a village and saw the same hound there. It was barking at a man. Even as I watched, the man picked up a huge stone and flung it at the dog, breaking its leg. The man had not gone far when he was kicked by a horse. His knee was shattered and he fell to the ground, disabled for life. The horse began to run but it fell into a hole and broke its leg.
Reflecting on all that had happened, I thought: ‘Evil begets evil. If I continue in my evil ways, I will surely be overtaken by evil’. So I decided to change”.
The minister went away convinced that the time was ripe to overthrow the king and seize the throne. Immersed in thought, he did not see the steps in front of him and fell, breaking his neck.
Here’s some examples that might help give do some good deeds !
1. Be a mentor for someone who needs some support.
2. Do some work for a client or one that can’t afford your services free of charge.
3.Give a homeless person some food, clothes and make their day !
4. Visit an elderly neighbour’s house and ask them if they need to have anything they need repaired or any sort of help !  Drive an older person in the neighborhood to the grocery store (they will love the opportunity to get out of the house, as well) or if they aren’t able to go themselves, take their list and go to the store for them. If at all possible, pay for their things.
5. Donate some money to your favourite charity !
6. Tell the manager of a restaurant how great your waiter/waitress was. This can happen in any store / business you visit.  Aim at brightening someone else’s day
7. Talk / Smile / greet parking attendants  – wouldn’t that be nice? Don' t forget to smile / greet / acknowledge attendants at Malls as well !
8. If it is raining, give your umbrella  to someone who does not have one. (it might be worth taking a spare one with you :)
9. Help your mother / father in some small way.  If they stay far away, make it a point to visit them / take them out / pamper them the way they pampered you.  At home help your family in small ways..
10. At your office, thank the “little people”. Everyone’s part is essential and no one’s job is purposeless. Thank the mail guy, the girl who orders supplies, or the door person.
Moral: Cycle of Deeds always gives us back what we give to others. If we do good to others, our good will happen, If we do bad to others, our turn will also come.
One good deed might not seem like much, but if everyone did something good for someone else, then the cycle of generosity and kindness can spark us to become better people.
